Frequently asked questions

Everything you may want to know before booking.

What is Sissa Rituals?

Sissa Rituals is a menstrual wellness platform offering education and personalised lifestyle coaching. I help women understand their cycles and explore supportive rituals around nutrition, movement, rest, and body awareness.

What is 1:1 menstrual health coaching?

1:1 menstrual health coaching is a personalised educational and lifestyle support service. Together, we explore your cycle patterns, current routines, questions, and realistic ways to support your everyday wellbeing.

Who is menstrual health coaching for?

Coaching may be helpful if you want to better understand painful periods, PMS, changing energy, cycle patterns, nutrition, movement, or everyday menstrual wellness. You do not need a diagnosis before booking.

Do I need a medical diagnosis before booking?

No. We can begin with your current experience, observations, and questions. Persistent, severe, unusual, or worsening symptoms should still be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.

Can coaching help with painful periods or PMS?

Coaching can help you understand your patterns and explore supportive habits around food, movement, sleep, stress, and cycle awareness. It does not diagnose or medically treat the causes of period pain or PMS.

Is coaching suitable for someone with endometriosis?

Yes. Coaching may provide education, cycle awareness, and lifestyle support alongside the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up provided by your healthcare team.

Does coaching replace medical care?

No. My coaching is designed to complement appropriate medical care. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or advise you to stop medication.

Will I need to follow a restrictive diet?

No. My approach focuses on realistic and sustainable changes rather than strict rules. We explore what feels supportive, culturally appropriate, enjoyable, and manageable within your lifestyle.

What can we discuss during a coaching session?

Depending on your needs, we may discuss your cycle history, symptoms, nutrition, movement, rest, stress, sleep, alcohol, cycle tracking, and questions you may want to raise with a healthcare professional.

Are the coaching sessions online?

Yes. The sessions are private and take place online, allowing you to access personalised support wherever you are.

How should I prepare for a session?

You will complete a short intake form before we meet. You may also bring any cycle observations, questions, symptom notes, or lifestyle concerns you would like to explore.

What happens after the session?

You leave with clear and realistic next steps based on the areas discussed during the session. The aim is to help you introduce supportive changes gradually rather than changing everything at once.

Can I contact you before booking?

Yes. You can use the contact page if you have a question about the service or are unsure whether coaching is the right next step for you.

When should I seek urgent medical help?

Seek appropriate medical support if you experience severe or sudden pain, very heavy bleeding, fainting, difficulty breathing, pregnancy-related concerns, or any symptom that feels urgent or unsafe.

Responsible support

My coaching is designed to complement appropriate medical care.

I provide education, cycle awareness, and lifestyle support. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace a qualified healthcare professional.
